How do I install windows XP on my preinstalled windows Vista LAPTOP?

How do I play videos ripped using Auto GK in Windows Vista?

I have Windows Vista Ultimate. It’s great, but it stopped searching for drivers in the preconfigured folders as before. Everytime I add a new device, the driver has to be searched for in the windows folder or update, but it doesn’t search in the preconfigured folders as before. How can I get it back to searching automatically in the preconfigured drivers folder?
