I just bought a new laptop a week ago and I am trying to install my printer. The computer did not come with any windows vista disc or set up discs. Everything was pre-installed. The computer keeps saying I do not have any administrator rights? It’s a nice printer and I don’t want to give it up just because of stupid windows vista. Does anyone know how to get the administrator rights?

I have a brand new Dell inspiron 1525 my friend has an HP also with windows vista…. when he opens and closes windows such as internet explorer or folders they have a cool fadeout or popup nice…. how can i make my computer so i can have those same maximize and minimize options ? i cant seem to find it

I know you can unzip a file with Vista but what program would I use to Open it? I can’t just double click because it automatically opens with Windows Explorer, which isn’t what I need. Right Clicking doesn’t give me an Extract option. I put it to you.

How do I find and delete temporary internet files in Windows Vista?

For instance in Windows XP I go to TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, under browsing history I choose Settings and then VIEW FILES and I can see an entire list of all the pages I have been to. When I do this same procedure in Windows Vista I see nothing. In Windows explorer I have clicked on files and have been denied access. Do you know why? I would definitely appreciate some help. Thanks!!!
