I have Windows Vista Ultimate. It’s great, but it stopped searching for drivers in the preconfigured folders as before. Everytime I add a new device, the driver has to be searched for in the windows folder or update, but it doesn’t search in the preconfigured folders as before. How can I get it back to searching automatically in the preconfigured drivers folder?

I need to reboot my Windows Vista Home Basic computer but I lost the CD that you need to do that. How can I reboot without it? I don’t mean rebooting as in simply restarting, I mean rebooting as in erasing everything and starting from the begining.
