Hello: I would like to send my parents a wallpaper image via email. I have windows XP, they have Vista. Can I just attatch it as a jpg and email? If so, is it as easy in Vista as it is in XP to set the desktop image? What are the steps?

You’ve got it chief, just attach the image and send it to them. On their end they can just right click the picture and set it as Desktop Background :)
just send it, it really doesnt matter whatever image format it is
The steps in setting a desktop background in vista is simple. Right click on the desktop and click personalize. After that simply click desktop image. From that point they should have this image in their documents or images so it will not be deleted and mess the back ground up when they boot next.
