How do I setup my email through windows vista?

I have several accounts for email but I want to setup my email through Windows Vista as well…I’d like to be able to send emails via desktop/without yahoo, gmail, etc….anyone?…anyone?…Thanks.

If the email provider uses a pop server you can use windows mail to access it, otherwise not.
If you want to be able to see your email thru a browser and thru Windows Mail, configure Windows mail to leave a copy of the mail on the server. Then manage it as you always have thru a browser
For most providers, you have to use their smtp (outgoing) server. Get the settings from whoever provides your internet.
For yahoo, can’t do it if you use the free yahoo. For yahoo plus:
