My wireless internet used to work with Windows vista and now it doesnt, can anyone help me?
I have a laptop with windows vista. The wireless internet connections used to work on my computer but now it will not connect to the internet at all. Can anyone tell me what this problem is and how to fix it? Thank you!

turn off the computer and wait 5-10 mins. and it should work my parents had the same problem
Okay probably by now you are on your way to solving this but let’s try something. Turn off and restart in safe mode with networking. See if your wireless works in this mode. IF it does, then probably something in VISTA is tweaking and interfering. If it fails in this safe mode, it could likely be the laptop wireless card itself because these are notoriously short life span hardware. Good luck and search google keywords: vista, wifi, laptop, failure and see what you find? If you get any kind of windows error # or message just google it too.
You need to supply more information. Is the wireless network shown in the list of available wireless networks? If not then you should check to make sure that wireless is turned on. Many laptops have switches for enabling/disabling the wireless.
