- I have a Sony DCR-TRV280 and Windows Vista Premium SP1 running on a 64 bit HP Pavilion DV9000 laptop. When I connect my camcorder to the laptop, Windows recognizes the USB connection and tries to install the drivers for the camera, but it fails to find the necessary files to install. I've tried going to Sony's website to install the drivers manually, but the only files available to download are Picture Package software.
- I really want a camcorder, but I am worried that either the camcorder or the software that comes with it will not work with my Windows Vista computer. Will Best Buy allow me to return the camcorder if Vista doesn't work? I am leaning toward the Hard-Disc Drive camcorders, but I'm not looking to spend more than $500 on it.

- I got a new inspiron 1521 computer from Dell and it's a Windows Vista. Which, is a new program. And i don't know if the Sony Cybershot works with it. I looked at its details and it doesnt include "windows vista" as a compatible program but that was in amazon. I dont think amazon was updated recently. So please, if you have a vista please help. I also checked the sony website.

- I can access the internet through both computers but I can't access one computer from the other. They don't show up on the other computer. The desktop running XP is wired through a wireless router. The notebook running Vista Basic uses a wireless connection. The help I've read seems to apply only if both computers are using the same edition of Windows. I might be missing the obvious step here so could someone please point it out for me? BTW, the notebook picked up the router and set up a network for internet access immediately. The desktop had to be reset before it picked everything up. The router is a dlink. ISP is road runner with time warner if that makes a difference. Thanks a lot for any assistance.

- I have a desk top with a printer hooked to it. I also have a wireless router in which the desktop is hooked to. I need to be able to print to the printer via wireless. Please help!! I was able to connect my cousins laptop, but she had Windows XP. Vista is different.

- Just bought apple time capsule. Works fine with my macs. It's connected to my existing wireless router via ethernet. I used the DHCP option when installing time capsule. My windows vista system "sees" my old existing wireless router, but not the time capsule. Any ideas. (Besides uninstalling vista)
